- I have several connections: ppp0, eth0 (LAN), eth1 (fire wire) and sit0.
I don't understand what's this sit0 connection. Anyone can explain me?

- sit stands for "simple internet transition" and is a device capable of encapsulating
ipv6 in ipv4 datagrams. It is used for tunnelling ipv6 over ipv4. The Mandriva
kernel comes with IPv6 enabled, so the sit0 device is created.
Unless you are doing ipv6 to ipv4 tunnelling, it can be safely ignored.

- Searching Linux IPv6 HOWTO I found an italian version also that explain all (an more than) I need on IPv6. So it seems it will be the next substitute for IP and Linux is ready.
Little bit strange that MDV have IPv6 but DSL and LAN don't work togheter ....
About closes I think the work become too big for me and I suspect that Mandriva have to work on that. And I have other question to solve so you'll see me soon.
