Tim_McMullin_8912 : 08/09/05 07:01 PM : Incident created |
- I just installed 10.1 download, and would like to have all the auto updates working... is there a way to adjust Mandrake to the new websites? Or should I just purchase Mandriva 10.1 and reinstall...
Thanks!

- Have you tried reconfiguring it via 'System/Configuration/Packaging/MandrakeUpdate' or
'System/Configuration/Packaging/Software Media Manager'?

- Neither seem to solve the issue. I receive an error on Mandrake update that says it needs to find a mirror site (probably because it's looking at the older Mandrake website). The second seems to update my first CD, but fails on the second and third CD saying that I must have manually mounted them.(?)
Maybe I should be asking if there is a new download of the Mandriva 10.1 version...
Thanks!

- use easyurpmi.
To use easyurpmi (automatic download of required package from Internet : DSL
line required) :
http://easyurpmi.zarb.org
choose updates sources.
type in a console as root the resulting urpmi.addmedia .......
then update the list of package :
urpmi.update -a
then update your system with the last security update :
urpmi --auto-select
