-   Hi,

I'm considering buying MDK10.1. I don't have a problem with paying for the product or paying for other services if I request them.

I'm trying to get a feel for the community and the forum. I cannot find a way to search and view other people's posts. Is this really how it is set up, or am I missing something?

Thanks

-   This is an incident report system, so there is a mixture of 'free' and
'paid-for' answers, so it is not designed for searching. You might want to
visit http://www.mandrakeclub.com or http://archives.mandrakelinux.com to
get a feel for the real community interaction.

-   Thanks, Linegod, I'll check out your links.

Sure would be nice if the Mandrake web site was a bit more user-friendly. I posted here because I followed pages that said I could look around for free - still not sure what was meant by that since this doesn't seem to be the right place for that.

I appreciate your time - thanks again.

Thanks to Linegod for taking the time to help a confused person who was only trying to follow the MDKsoft web site pages that seemed to indicate that I could look around for free.
