wrong display setting

bodoschlecht : 31/12/01 12:12 PM : Incident created -   with mandrake control center i changed the settings for the display. the test were not working, but i kept the settings anyway. after reboot when the login-page should appear, the monitor begins flashing an an error message appers. i only can login with the normal text console. after 5 minutes it tries again to start the gui, but it fails again. can someone tell me, where i have to change settings (probably with vi)?
