-   There doesn't seem to be any obvious documentation about installing the kernel sources.

-   To install the kernel source, simply install the 'kernel-source' RPM, which is located on the second CD.

# mount /mnt/cdrom
# cd /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS2
# rpm -ivh kernel-source-x.x.x.i586.rpm (replace x.x.x with the version of kernel you have installed)

You may have to install the 'libncurses5' RPM also, which is located on the first CD.
