Also if I used the .config file and did a make oldconfig? thanks in advance Warren
Linegod_7611 : 28/12/01 06:44 PM : Reply received -   The Mandrake kernels are optimized for the distro, and are also patched, so you would have to hunt down all the patches to use the Mandrake config. I would recommend using one of the Cooker kernels if you want to try out new features - http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/cookerdevel.php3 , which is currently at 2.4.16
