tmulder : 06/09/04 02:36 PM : Incident created -   I installed Mandrake Linux 9.2 on my laptop with the "no apic" command. Otherwise it won't install. What is apic? Do i miss something essential?

Linegod_7611 : 06/09/04 05:33 PM : Reply received -   (APIC) A Programmable Interrupt Controller (PIC) that can handle interrupts from and for multiple CPUs, and, usually, has more available interrupt lines that a typical PIC.
