-   I will buy an IBM xseries 200 server model 847911x. This model does not appear in the compatibility database. I want to install Mandrake 8.1 server system in it. Does anyone knows if it is ok to use it?

-   It might help if you provided some details about the system. Processor type, memory, video, audio, SCSI/IDE type, harddrive space, etc. If you are going
to use it purely as a server, and not as a desktop (in other words, no GUI), I doubt you'll run into any problems, but posting the info would help.
