System freezes on high cpu peaks

- I ve noticed that after some peaks in CPU load, the computer starts beeping an after a few seconds it freezes. It doesn`t matter what i 'm doing, but it happens only with sudden peaks, not with permanent high loads (may be not so relevant)
Is this a hardware problem?

- It sounds like a hardware problem, most likely either memory or CPU. Check you BIOS for correct memory settings, and check your CPUs heatsink to see
if it is properly attached.
