- The other day I found the card game "Euchre" (euchre-0.7.tar.gz) and downloaded it to /home/username/rpms/euchre-0.7.tar.gz .
I then tried to use urpmi to install the software but so far I've no luck (I have used urpmi successfully in the past).
Perhaps this type of software is not suitable for urpmi? I did get it from Mandrake Club, though.
Any clues would be great.

- You downloaded the 'original' software, that needs to be compiled. There
should have also been a link to an '.rpm' package, which you will be able to
use 'urpmi' on, or rpm:
# rpm -Uvh packagename.rpm
