Bibleguy : 07/12/03 12:02 AM : Incident created
-   Recently installed 9.2 and have noticed that the Xscreensaver doesn't work. When opening the GUI for the KDE Control center nothing is listed in the box. It is set to start after 5 minutes and I do get a black screen after 5 minutes. I also noticed that there is no .xscreensaver file in my home directory...

-   The screensavers controlled by KDE are provides by 'kdeartwork', not
xscreensaver. Either use rpmdrake to install kdeartwork, or as root, do:

# urpmi kdeartwork

-   Switched to Gnome. Works fine here...

Linegod_7611 : 06/02/04 04:18 AM : Reply received
-   That's because Gnome uses xscreensaver directly, KDE does not.
