ViperX883 : 22/11/03 08:21 PM : Incident created
-   There are a list of about 40 secreensavers in the KDE screensaver window, but none of them work. I have installed the packages xscreensavers and xscreensavers-gl. When I attenpt to use or test a screensaver, nothing at all happens. I suspect this may have something to do with OpenGL, but I'm not sure. My video deiver is the latest nVidia driver and my card is a GeForce4. Please let me know it you need any additional information. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

-   I have glx loading in the XF86config-4 file and the X11 log doesn't seem to show any errors about loading this module. Before I did a clean install of 9.2, I had 9.1 and the screensavers worked fine. I don't know if any of this helps, but I though it might be relevant.

-   Try running them from the console. ie:

# /usr/bin/keuphoria.kss
# /usr/bin/kmorph3d.kss

And see if they generate any errors. And the xscreensaver files are
seperate from the KDE screensavers.

-   I gt fed up with the problems I had upgrading from 9.1 to 9.2 so I just did a full install, including my home directory, and it works now. I really appreciate it, tho. I'm learning more every day.

Thanks!
