-   I have copied all of the rpms from /dev/hdc/Mandrake/RPMS,RPMS2 and RPMS3 into /pub/RPMS. How do I get rpmdrake to look to /pub/RPMS for the install packages?

Linegod_7611 : 30/10/03 06:55 AM : Reply received
-   # cd /pub/RPMS
# genhdlist ./
# urpmi.addmedia <put a name here> file://pub/RPMS with hdlist.cz

You may have to change the 'file://' directive to point at the full path of /pub/RPMS

-   Dude, In an easy way you may actually goto to MCC-->Software Management--
>Software Sources Manager-->Add a new Source and choose type of source as
Local Files. Then Name your source as per your wish and browse the path and
select. No need to worry abt the relative path there. just click ok and its
all done..
