-   I have just installed Linux-Mandrake 8.0 on my brand new custom Dell 4300 Dimension (yippee!), and even though I made sure the parts of my system would be compatible, there were at least 8 Intel items that were not recognized, and a lot of other strange error messages, etc (plus video card problems, etc.). I decided that I would go ahead and get the 8.1 distribution, but would not install it until after I purchase a second hard drive (to which Linux-Mandrake would be installed). Until then, I want to remove completely all of Linux-Mandrake and the Lilo boot from my computer, and have it restored to a total Windows computer (it has Windows ME on it). How can I do this, and is there any way that I can do this without having to reinstall Windows as well (I'm guessing not)? Thank you so much!

-   To remove Mandrake, boot into Linux and at a console type 'diskdrake'. Use
it to remove the Linux partitions. After this is done, reboot with a DOS
boot disk and type 'fdisk /MBR' which will remove LILO.
