svanneste : 09/10/03 09:02 AM : More info provided -   Hello, Thanks for the advice but I tried this previously and it gave me this error : Support for reencoding with liblame was not found. You can't reencode this. Ices Exiting... Reason why I was trying to find any other solution. Even more, I wasn't able to use LiveIce (plugin for Xmms) or to compile Oddsock.

That means you didn't have 'lame' and 'liblame' installed. If you pick up 'lame', 'liblame' and 'liblame-devel' from http://plf.zarb.org , you should be good to go.
