javiermarcon : 18/09/03 07:28 PM : Incident created
-   Hello, I added an user to mysql with this command:

grant select, insert, allter, update, drop, create, index, delete
on pepon.* to pepito@'%' identified by 'clave';
flush privileges;

Then the user can access the database from any ip with a mysql client, but they can' t login in phpMyAdmin or by any web page. User root (with his password) can login in phpMyAdmin and enter with the MySql Client.

What is missconfigured and where should I look to solve this?

Thanks,

javier.

-   You could check '/var/www/html/admin/phpMyAdmin/config.inc.php' and make sure
it is setup correctly. You may also want to verify that the user can login
at the console:

# mysql -upepito -p pepon
