nagios-nrpe needed

flindet : 16/09/03 06:29 PM : Incident created -   Hello, We would like to install nagios-nrpe on Mandrake GNU/Linux 9.1. We have NRPE 1.5 running as a deamon on a Solaris 8 box and we would like to use a check_nrpe plugin on the GNU/Linux box. We have found a nagios-nrpe rpm for SuSE, but no luck finding one for Mandrake. Can anyone show us where to obtain nagios-nrpe for Mandrake? Is there an alternative method to access the NRPE deamon to retrieve the feedback from the Solaris machine? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I've sent an e-mail to the maintainer of the nagios package for Mandrake, to see if he will make a package. In the meantime, you could compile it from source, available at http://www.nagios.org ------ Note: If this answer resolves your problem, please remember to close this incident.
