domdeleeqd : 14/12/01 04:38 PM : Incident created -   Hi, I have a ESS ES56H-PI Data Fax Voice Modem, which is of course a winmodem ! There's a binary file to do it work under an old kernel: 2.2.12. But does any one know if there's something unseful to make it work under mandrake 8.0 ? Every thing I tried fail !!! So help ! I'm fade up not to be able to use Linux to surf the net ! Thanks for your help. PS: the shipset is an Ess 2838 ... and of course Ess give no helps, no driver, and no response to my mails !
