- I am using mandrake in the LAN?of my company. I can reach the internet but I cannot reach the intranet. I can use samba and reach the file and printer on the network. However, I cannot reach the intranet webpage. I suspect that I can reach the intranet network from a windows desktop because I have installed the "client for the microsoft networks" but it is no available on the mandrake. Is it correct? How to solve the problem?

- Most likely it is a DNS problem. With 'Client for Microsoft Windows' it may be passing the
addresses of the Intranet sites you those systems. Determine the IP of intranet page (ie:
192.168.5.5) and see if you can get to the IP. If you can, then it is a DNS problem.
