-   Is there any way to install windows without affecting the linux bootloader? I already have Mandrake 8.1 installed and want to install windows on another partition without losing the ability to boot into mandrake. Any suggestions?

-   Just have a working Linux boot disk handy. After Windows reboots about 14 times during its install, just boot with the Linux boot disk and use 'drakboot'
to add Windows to LILO and to restore LILO to the Master Boot Record. If you don't have a working boot disk, you can also use the CD (F1 then
'rescue') to recover LILO with '/sbin/lilo' and then add Windows to LILO after.
