-   Would like to disable the preview pane in KMail. Please advise. Thank you.

-   You can't 'disable' the entire preview pane in KMail, but you can simply click on
the seperator between your mail and the preview pane, and resize it so it is no
longer seen, by dragging the mail area down to the bottom.
