Can't figure out my sound card

hajicasebolt : 10/12/01 08:35 AM : Incident created -   I've been trying to get my Sound Blaster Live card to work On my Linux box but I'm stumped. I have an on board sound card that I can't figure out how to disable and I can't get my live card to be found. Everytime I run harddrake it crashes my system. any ideas? I'm pretty new at this to the more details the better. Thanks for your help!
