-   Hi!
When trying to install new packages or freshen, rpm gets stuck and doesn't actually do anything.

[root@localhost tmp]# rpm -Fvvvv *cups*
D: ============== cups-1.1.18-1.1mdk.i586.rpm
D: Expected size: 2306031 = lead(96) sigs(241) pad(7) data(2305687)
D: Actual size: 2306031
D: opening db environment /var/lib/rpm/Packages create:mpool
D: opening db index /var/lib/rpm/Packages create mode=0x42

Then it gets stuck and does nothing (it can stay like that for hours)
Any ideas as to what my be wrong?
Thanks!

-   You could check '/var/lib/rpm' and delete any files with '__db' in them.
(__db.001, __db.002).

If this does not work, you can try 'rpm --rebuilddb'.

-   Deleted files, killed all process trying to access them (lsof * from /var/lib/rpm) and ran rpm --rebuilddb.
It seems to be working now :)
Thanks a lot for your help
