Leck : 12/03/03 08:23 AM : Incident created
-   I have installed Mandrake Linux 9.0, and I have a Teac CDRW drive, which is detected fine, but when I try to load a CD which was burnt using Windows XP, it will work for a short time, then it will stop reading from the CD and say that it's empty, and to get the CD working again I have to open an close the tray.

Is this a normal problem with taking a CD from Windows to Linux, or can I fix this?

-   You should check _how_ you are burning the CD in Windows. Make sure you
are using Rock Ridge Joliet, but do not select any other 'Windows' features or
formats.
