-   i hav an old baby AT box that i am putting together to install linux on. problem is i cant remember if the plugs on the power supply need to be with black wires side by side or away from each other. I think i fried the last motherboard that was in there by swapping the pluggs, so i want some more proffessional advice before i put a new motherboard in there and blow it

-   Hello,

I believe that the black wires must be side by side but please dont take my word for it for at the moment i dont have a box that i am able to open to make sure 100%. You can try contacting your local computer parts supplier and they can give you a direct answer.

Best regards,

The technical support team.
Mandrakesoft.
