- hello,
i have installed the mandrake powerpack edition 9.0. the question i would like to ask:
i receive mails that i don't want in my mailbox. is there a antispamware program with this distro that i could use perhaps?

- I would recommend Spamassassin (http://spamassassin.org). It is on the CD or
you can get it from:
http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/mandrake/9.0/contrib/RPMS/spamassassin-2.41-1mdk.i586.html

i have checked with my sofware installer in the mandrake controlcenter for the program spamassassin. i receive the message that everything is already installed. but where could i find this program in the menu? i am working with KDE.
hope you can help me further.....

- euhh..hello again,
i have resolved the installation problem. saw by accident someone had the same problem with package installation with sofwareinstaller and the reply i read has solved the problem. as root i have started up the service in drakxservices the spamassassin in startup. so the question i have remained is can i use this program with my Kmail program or is it preferred to use an other maileditor? and how i can configer this?
