-   I've tried to enter manually in Xwindows but it freeze on the first page 'Grey One'

I had another problem with the installation before... i don't know if it pertinent with my prob...

-   As I said, reconfigure your X. When it is done saying 'X respawing to fast', it
should leave you at a console prompt. Log in as root. Then type 'init 3' so it
doesn't start spawing again. _Reconfigure_ your X by typing the command
'XFdrake'. Once you are done reconfiguring X, you can test X with 'startx'. If
this works, type 'init 5' to go back to the graphical login.

I did what you said and when i run XFdrake i had several compilation failed...
Like:

.../log.pm line 5
.../main.pm line 5
.../Xconfiguratior.pm line 7
.../XFdrake line 23

-   Could you grab and install the following RPMs from the updates:

ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/Linux/distributions/mandrake/updates/9.0/RPMS/

drakconf-9.0-6.1mdk.i586.rpm
drakxtools-1.1.9-53.1mdk.i586.rpm
drakxtools-http-1.1.9-53.1mdk.i586.rpm
drakxtools-newt-1.1.9-53.1mdk.i586.rpm

Then try 'XFdrake' again.
