- I recently purchased a FA311 Netgear LAN Adapter, now everytime i boot linux it says something about file dependencies that dont exist, it wants a driver i have no idea how to get, the only drivers i have are the ones included with the disk i got with the card, i know nothing about compiling or installing them into the kernel, please help?

- If you could give the details of the error, I may be able to assist.
You might also try running 'kudzu' from a console as root to try to detect the card.

- god the windows way was so much easier, anyway, i managed to get rid of the error messages, now i just cant get it to work at all, it seems not to accept the drivers i got with the card, i goto the net drivers directory, all the files are ending with .o.gz, not just .o, i dont even know how to install the driver, kunduz just flashes my floppy light and does nothing, have i miss something?
