- Dear Sirs,
I've gotten a number of notices from Mandrake about update components, however my MandrakeUpdate keeps telling me the list is void, I think because it is connecting to a site that no longer provides the updates.
Is there a config file in which I might change the download site, and which mirror might be a good one to switch to?
Here's what I get in the terminal:
ftp://ftp.tugraz.at/mirror/Mandrake/updates/9.0/base/hdlist.cz
=> `/var/cache/urpmi/partial/.listing'
Resolving ftp.tugraz.at... done.
Connecting to ftp.tugraz.at[129.27.3.12]:21... connected.

==> SYST ... done. ==> PWD ... done.
==> TYPE I ... done. ==> CWD /mirror/Mandrake/updates/9.0/base ...
No such directory `mirror/Mandrake/updates/9.0/base'.
Thanks in advance,
Peter

- There is an excellent article on how to add and remove sources from the
console at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/jwrobinson/docs/urpmi-howto/ by using
'urpmi' which is the backend to rpmdrake (the gui).

- Run Software Sources Manager. Click K-icon/Configuration/Packaging and then
add or change the Security Updates. The mirrors available may be gotten from
madrake site. Test the near or faster one and update the source.
