- I am kinda a newbie w/ linux. I am trying to setup the computer so it works with my cable connection. @Home apparently doesnt provide support for linux....so bummer.
I just added a ethernet card to the computer yesterday, and i dont think linux had any trouble recognizing it.
i have the information i need to set it up, like the static IP and dns "stuff", but i dont know where to put it.
any help would be appreciated, thanks.

- Just go to 'K/Configuration/Other/Mandrake Control Center/Network & Internet' and then click on 'Internet Connection' and it will walk
you through it.
