-   I want to change my mobo/processor on my current 8.2 install.. I don't have CDs.. (They got busted), All I am using it for is a server. I have a network card, and a hdd in there (That's it..) as well as the mobo/processor. It is an AMD-K6-2 500mhz.. I want to change that to an AMD-Athlon 1000mhz.. same ram.. same hdd.. just change mobo/processor. What do you think?

-   You shouldn't have any problem. All of the required drivers are part of the
kernel package, so any changes should be picked up by kudzu (you may have to
run kudzu and harddrake manually after the swap).

I have swapped out several mobo/processors without incident.
