- When LILO comes up with your boot options, hit 'ESC' and then type 'linux
1'. When it boots to console, type 'passwd' and then enter your new
password.

If for some reason this does not work, you can use the Mandrake CD - boot
from the CD, press F1 for more options, type 'rescue' and the rescue screen
should assist.
