-   I have downloaded Sun's Java.
The file comes in .bin format
What should I do to it?

Thanks

-   In a console go to the directory where you downloaded it.
You have to make the file executable : 'chmod a x nameofthe.bin'
Run it by typing the path before :'./nameofthe.bin'

Note you will probably have to log as root before running it knowing it's an
install program, you can do it by typing 'su'.
