-   Who can help me with the following problem when installing Mandrake 8.1 on a system like this:

ASUS A7VI-VM, amd duron 800, 16mb ram, via prosavage km133, intellimouse ps/2 compatible

I choosed the recommended installation
All goes well until the configure X step, when I get the following messages:

/tmp/imm.o: init_module: no such device
/tmp/ppa.o: init_module: no such device

and the system freezes

-   If I recall correctly the memory requirement for 8.1 was 32Meg, 64Meg
recommended. You might want to try a 'text' install (Hit F1 at the splash
screen and type 'text'), or increase your memory.

-   Alright, what happens if you simply try to reboot after the freeze? If the
system comes up (which it should, there is nothing left to be done after X
configuration), log in as root and run 'XFdrake' to reconfigure your X
server.
