- Simple solution(I hope!). I'm trying to change the console resolution that I boot up to. I'm very used to the old DOS-resemblant resolution from solaris. Never put much thought into how to control it. Anyone shed some light on this issue?

- Adjust the 'vga=' setting at the top of '/etc/lilo.conf' for a global change to all boot
modes, or put in 'vga=whatever' underneath the 'label=' for a different setting for
each boot option. Once you are done, run '/sbin/lilo' to reload lilo.
Settings are:
vga = normal
vga = 785 # 640x480 (16bit)
vga = 788 # 800x600 (16bit)
vga = 791 #1024x768 (16bit)
vga = 794 #1280x1024(16bit)
