Could not open default font

veridiana : 10/09/02 07:11 PM : Incident created -   I run installation several times and could not get X working. First time I run in recommended mode and the installation looked perfect. After rebooting, all I got was a black screen with the mouse cursor in the middle. I waited for a long time and nothing happened, altough the hard drive was in activity. The second time, I run installation in expert mode and when I got to the X configuration stage, I received the message: could not open default font. I tried again and again with the other two options (first was with hardware acceleration, second without the hardware acceleration and the last with old server 3.3.6). Detail: I would like to use the hardware acceleration if possible. Thank you.
