- I have just installed mandrake v8.1 and am interested in configuring the SSH server. I selected it for install, but so far have been unable to find in the documentation how to set it up. Does anyone have any idea where this is documented or how do I go about configuring SSH server?

- All you should have to do is '/etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd restart' and then test it with:
# ssh -v localhost
You should be able to login.
After that, you can run 'drakxservices' to enable sshd on boot.

- Some informations can be obtained by typing man sshd and man
sshd_config
Much more informations on ssh can be found at http://www.openssh.org/
Note:
To enable a client to connect from outside, you need also to setup your
firewall (iptables) correctly, or only your localhost connections will work
