kacen : 01/09/02 08:57 PM : Incident created
-   Hello, when installing Mandrake 8.2, i installed the ImageMagick program. It works great
under the shell but does not seem to have all the parts for it to be fully
functional. In particular it does not seem to have the "combine" capability
to merge multiple images together. I did a man on combine and did not see it installed.
Where and how do it obtain this enhanced capability? I realize that this
may be outside your knowledge area but I thought I give you a try. Thank you
for your help.

Sincerely,
Steve Kacen

-   Are you sure it's "combine" ? AFAIK the image merging (addition, etc)
ImageMagick package is "composite" and is should be into the base rpm

Note: if this answer solves your problem, please close this incident (and
incident 30105 also) ;-)

-   thank you for you suggestion. The composite seems to do the trick. The combine
function I was refering to is found in Chpater 11 of the pdf document(over 400
pages long) for ImageMagick. In fact an entire chapter is devoted to this command.
Anyway, your suggestings works and I appreciated the very prompt response.

Good Work!

Steve

-   Thank you for your appreciation.
BTW I think the pdf is a bit outdated. The html docs does'nt mention 'combine' ...
