- how do you convert mp3 files so that i can burn ready to play on a normal cd player. what programs are there?

- The console app 'mpg123' will convert mp3s to wavs (type 'mpg123 --help'), or
you use the XMMS plugin 'xmms-diskwriter' (you can get the Mandrake RPM of it
at http://rpmfind.net).

I've tried various tar balls and rpms but get lib. so.2 errors.
I cant find this file anywhere.
where is it?
