-   Hi it's me again,

I'm trying to edit the sudoers file and it clearly states at the top of the file:

#
# This file MUST be edited with the 'visudo' command as root.
#
# See the sudoers man page for the details on how to write a sudoers file.
#

However, I have searched and searched for a sudoers man page and cannot find it or details on how to write a sudoers file.

Can someone send me a link to the proper man page?

Is there a reason why you can't edit this file with mcedit?

Is there a specific format or syntax that must be used?

Thanks for ALL your help and advice,

Carl Curtis

-   Open up a console, change to root with 'su' and then type 'visudo'.
