- Can get all of supporting components for KAV installation installed except: "kernel-source-2.4.18-8.1mdk". Nothing more than a message saying error occured appears...cannot install KAV without kernel-source.
Here's what was installed for kav interdependencies: bin utlis, gcc, gcc-cpp, glibc-devel, kerenel-headers, libncurses5-deve, make, and postfix.
Have "kernel-2.4.18-6mdk" v1-1mdk installed.

- Your kernel and kernel source versions must be the same. Install kernel-
2.4.18.8mdk-1-1mdk first, or install kernel-source-2.4.18-6mdk.

- Linegod, I installed "kernel-2.4.18.8mdk-1-1mdk" and then kernel-source-2.4.18-8.1mdk and all of the interdependent packages. Installed kav-bases, kav-moniotor, kav-postfix, kav-ws, and kav-wt sucessfully. All installed sucessfuly.
But, no Kaspersky Anti-virus logo on KDE menu?
Still have kernel "kernel-2.4.18-6mdk" in addition to the new installation of "kernel-2.4.18.8mdk-1-1mdk" Should I remove the very first kernel?
HOw does KAV work? Does it?
