- I ran the rawrite, but could not tell if it did anything. There was not `done\' message. I selected the exit. When I tried to boot with the disk, I got a bootloader failed error.
Then I tried the dd (page 10) command in Mandrake 7.2. I got a /dev/fd1 not writeable error.
Next I tried the boot disk I used to install 7.2.
I eventually got a \'no /lib/module.cz-2.2.17-BOOT9 found error.\'

- Try:

- I discovered that if I clicked the floppy disk icon and the cdrom icon before typing the dd command, everything worked OK.
I got the OS installed now. I am using it to write this.
I did get a swapon(hdb10) failed error when I was reformatting, but it turns out was and extra tiny partion that was getting assigned as swap. I deleted it then the error did not reoccur.
