battledragun : 02/07/02 05:40 AM : Incident created -   When I first install Mandrake linux 8.2, my mouse works fine, during the installation process and all. I have a microsoft intellimouse optical usb. However, after the first session, is over(i.e. once I log out or reboot computer), my mouse inside X windows ceases to work. It won't respond at all, however outside of X windows my mouse works. Any information on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

battledragun : 02/07/02 11:55 PM : More info provided -   Thanks for the tip, however when I tried it, it didn't work. If I reboot the machine I get control of my mouse back and it works for the first session of X windows. Once I log out of this X session, my mouse no longer works. I've tried this with a ps/2 logitech mouseman also and it does the same thing. Any other hints would be greatly appreaciated.
