telnet not working properly in mdk 8.1

	- Using any of the telnet programs except X3270: Telneting to SUN workstation. At the LOGIN prompt key in login name, hit enter. The curser returns to the beginning of the line (over the l) and terminal freezes. Only ^] and quit will unfreeze it. I can telnet to myself (own IP) successfully. Everything worked fine with mdk8.0.
