Can't See CD Drive Contents

Lines in bold below have not yet been seen by the customer - those in blue are from the customer

danwinst : 09/11/01 06:51 PM : Incident created -   I have done a clean install and all is running well, but I cannot see the contents of either of my CD drives. They are auto-mounted upon boot.
Linegod_7611 : 09/11/01 08:05 PM : Reply received -   Do to problems with supermount, it was disabled in 8.1 (latest kernels in cooker supposedly have it working again). Try issueing, as root: # mount /mnt/cdrom # ls /mnt/cdrom And see if it works. ----- Note: If this answer resolves your problem, please remember to close this question.
Dianne Marie : 09/11/01 08:06 PM : Reply received -   are you using mdk 8.1? are you referring to 'supermount is enabled' when you typed 'auto-mounted' upon boot ? supermount is broken in mdk 8.1. have you tried to manually mount?
