can't get telnet working

tdean : 12/06/02 10:47 AM : Incident created -   my question is one on telnet. i "thought" i installed gnome telnet...unfortunatley when i run the program, gnome telnet opens and then i type in my hostname i want to tenlet to....and it says "telnet is not installed on your system..." any suggestions?

tdean : 12/06/02 08:45 PM : More info provided -   ok so i did the 'rpm, -qa|grep telnet' command....and only a '>' showed up on the next line. with your previous advice i am to now 'install telnet'. sorry if i sound dumb....but how do i go about doin that? thanks
