can't get telnet working

- my question is one on telnet. i "thought" i installed gnome telnet...unfortunatley when i run the program, gnome telnet opens and then i type in my hostname i want to tenlet to....and it says "telnet is not installed on your system..."
any suggestions?

- At a console, type 'rpm -qa|grep telnet'. If telnet-client-krb5 does not appear in the
list, install it.

- ok so i did the 'rpm, -qa|grep telnet' command....and only a '>' showed up on the next line. with your previous advice i am to now 'install telnet'. sorry if i sound dumb....but how do i go about doin that?

- You can either type 'urpmi telnet-client-krb5' at a console, as root, or you
can type 'rpmdrake' and use the graphical installer to install it.
