	- I installed Flash player but it does not work with Konqueror which I have configured to use Netscape plugins. I tested SuSE7.3 and it works there (installed in default install) but I could not find how to configure MD8.1 to use the plugins. The Konqueror documentation re plugins is not accurate either.

- Ensure that you have 'netscape-plugins' and 'kdebase-plugins' installed:

# rpm -qa|grep plugins

In Konqueror, go to 'Settings/Configure Konqueror' then 'Konqueror
Browser/Plugins' ensure that 'Enable Plugins Globally' is check, and click
apply.

Next, go to 'Netscape Plugins' and click 'Scan for New Plugins' and click
apply. Close out Konqueror and restart it.

	- Thanks Linegod -- got it working. Seems like if Mandrake wants to be THE "desktop distro" the plugins should be installed by default! Chuck
