- I have upgrade the machine from Mandrake 8.1 to 8.2, then I tried to log in using one normal user account which was created under 8.1 with the KDE window manager, I can pass the password check, but in the preparation of setting up the KDE window, it gives error of this:
------------------------------------------------- ---------------------
There was an error setting up inter-process communication for KDE. The message returned by the system was:
Could not read network connection list.
/home/gomes/.DCOPserver_anu:0
------------------------------------------------- ----------------------
How can I fix it to get into this account.

- Try deleting '/home/gomes/.DCOP*' and '/home/gomes/.kde/tmp-*'
and '/home/gomes/.kde/socket-*'. If this does not work, either create a
new user account, and move any required data into it, or backup your '.kde'
directory to '.kdeback' and try login in again.
