patd : 03/11/01 11:45 AM : Incident created -   Does Mandrake 8.1 support the Promise Ultra 100 TX2 ATA controller card during installation? I believe the 2.4.8 kernel does, so I assume that 8.1 can be made to work with this card after installation. However, this card does not appear in the compatible hardware lists, and I am lazy and do not want to plug my disk into the on-board controller, put Mandrake on, configure, plug disk back into new controller, etc. Thanks, Pat
