-   You need 52MB because with FTP we cannot execute the program on a filesystem
-> we need to download the program, mount it as a ramdisk in memory, and
execute it from there ; so we need more memory than other types of install,
because the ramdisk and the actual memory needed by the actual program need to
coexist.

If you have less memory, and you need to do a network install, try out the NFS
install: as NFS provides a filesystem, we don't need to use a ramdisk.

Else, you could try to download the full installation on a Linux partition of
your harddisk, and do a harddisk install.

-   On M$ products, it will cost you much to have a nfs server...forget it

-   IF you have another box with a CDROM drive, you can:

1- plug your harddisk to the other box
2- insert the CDROM in the other box, hit "F1" then "rescue" to start off the
rescue rather than the installation
3- partition the harddisk from there directly with "fdisk" : create a 700 MB
partition on which you will copy the full contents of the CDROM (after having
mounted it), and leave blank space for further paritioning for your real system
4- put back the harddisk in your box
5- boot off the "hd.img" you can find in /images directory from CDROM (or
directly from CD #2) and choose "hard disk" install and select the partition
on which you copied the CDROM, this will start the installation from the harddisk

You may also borrow 32 MB of memory temporarily, for the installation, to a
friend or another box; this will be easier, but you don't necessarily have
handy memory around :-).
